First off you’d have to know my step son’s favorite band is Metallica. His latest fun is calling any modern-day band that is playing to be “pure shit.”

So yesterday after hearing one of his “shit” comments with some music I was playing I decided that I’d let him listen to something more of his liking. 

I play ‘Metallica’ Turn the Page and my son has this frown on his face. 

Me: Don’t you like this music? Or is this shit also?

Him: No this is shit

Me: Wait this is Metallica

Him: *Puzzled look on his face* Oh wait…well I haven’t listened to them in six months. I don’t have time. 

So the boy that claimed Metallica was the ultimate rock band ever yesterday in one conversation called them “Shit” and declared that he hadn’t listened to them in months.
